White ink

White Ink in the DTF Printing Process

White ink creates the underbase behind the color image in a DTF transfer, helping the printed design remain visible when transferred onto dark or colored garments.

Because white pigment ink has different handling requirements from standard color ink, printer setup, ink circulation and regular production procedures should be considered when selecting and using a DTF ink system.

    Print Color

    Print the color image onto DTF PET film.

    Print White

    Apply the white ink underbase to the printed design.

    Apply Powder

    Apply DTF hot melt adhesive powder to the printed film.

    Cure the printed film and adhesive as part of the production process.

    Heat Transfer

    Transfer the finished design onto the garment using heat transfer equipment.
